MEGA and MIGHTY Tết Giveway!!!

MEGA and MIGHTY Tết Giveway!!!

A year ago, when I started VietCan Books, I didn't know anyone doing similar work as me in promoting and providing Vietnamese bilingual resources. As I started making connections, I found a small but highly supportive number of moms who found different ways to bring Vietnamese resources closer to Vietnamese communities across the world.
What a great way to start the Vietnamese New Year of the Cat as all the Vietnamese  resource providers I've connected with united to create an amazing giveaway bundle.
Included in this bundle:
🌸 Vietnamese-English Animal Flash Cards from @hellotochao
🌸 I Love Vietnam Quiet Book from @littlebeanstoychest
🌸 Em Học Tiếng Việt: Colors the Rainbow from @gemmas.library
🌸 Bilingual Colors of Tết, and Numbers from @tinywristco
🌸 Amigurimi/handmade cat by @vietcanbooks

Let me briefly introduce you to each mom.
1. Hoa is a Vietnamese mom and teacher of Vietnamese language before moving to the US. She makes bilingual flash cards, worksheets and checklists, etc to guarantee fun play with children while learning Vietnamese.
Check out her Hello to Chao shop online.
2. Hai-Anh spreads cultural awareness with fun, engaging quiet books that feature not only cultural highlights, but also pertinent day-to-day learning themes. Quiet books provide hours of independent play for children.
Check out her Little Bean's Toy Chest store online.
3. When Chau became a parent, she realized quickly how challenging raising a bilingual child can be in terms of finding books, so she wrote her own! And that's how Gemma's library began. It has now grown in books and personnel!
Check out Gemma's Library online.
4. Many of you will have heard of Tiny Wrist Co through their bilingual books such as Colors of Tết, Nursery Rhymes, and Cuội, Legend of the Man on the Moon. Your children have likely listened to beautiful covers of children's popular songs on YouTube. Tam Le is the quiet, tireless mama behind TinyWrist.
Check out other Tết books and her newest addition "Numbers" at https://tinywrist.com/.
5. Like many other mamas, I struggled to find Vietnamese resources for my now 3 year-old. This journey has gotten much more meaningful with not only promoting bilingualism, but also cultural diversity and inclusion, starting with providing inclusive books from Asian authors and illustrators. Moreover, I have ventured into the world of amigurumi (handmade/crocheted) dolls. Other than the cat and rabbit to represent two different zodiac signs for the Year of the Cat/Rabbit this year, cultural girl and boy dolls will be available soon.

6. Kristine from Summit Kids had a vision of fostering cultural awareness, celebrating diversity and promoting inclusivity through books, play materials, learning resources and workshops. What started as a mobile after school program provider has turned into a proud Canadian bilingual hub offering resources in Chinese, Korean, Filipino and Vietnamese.
Check out Summit Kids' website for other bilingual resources.
7. Alice is a mom and storyteller who believes that books have a profound impact on teaching children. Tet Together, her product of labor and love will help children embrace different cultural values, and celebrate their own cultural roots.

I hope you will support each and every of our amazing mama who has made bilingual resources more accessible. There are ways to go in spreading the word about our very existence. Please share about us to anyone who might benefit from our resources.
Chúc mừng năm mới - Năm Quý Mão!
