About “Chi Chi Chành Chành”

“Chi Chi Chành Chành” is a beloved Vietnamese children’s folk rhyme and traditional hand game, passed down through generations. Children place a finger in the center of one person’s open palm while everyone recites the rhyme. When the rhyme ends, the person closes their hand, and everyone tries to pull their finger away quickly. 

Like many Vietnamese folk rhymes, there are several versions of the lyrics, reflecting the fact that đồng dao were traditionally passed down orally.
